Who we are

Engage is a service of The Good AI Labs. It answers phone calls and chats for businesses (sellers) and helps them take orders, call suppliers and send price alerts.

Two kinds of people

Sellers sign up for Engage and decide how it is used. Buyers and suppliers talk to a seller's agent. For buyers' and suppliers' information, the seller decides what is collected and why, and Engage handles it on the seller's behalf. If you called or chatted with a business that uses Engage, you can also ask that business about your data.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address and, if you add it, your phone number.
  • Business data the seller enters: products, prices, rules, suppliers and customer lists.
  • Conversations: chat messages, call transcripts, phone numbers of callers, and call recordings when the seller has turned recording on. Callers hear a recording notice first.
  • What the agent learns in a conversation, such as a buyer's name, company, delivery address or preferences, with a link to the conversation it came from.
  • Billing records: top-ups and usage. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach Engage.
  • Technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

  • To answer calls and chats for the seller, quote from the seller's price list and save RFQs.
  • To show sellers their conversations, reports and costs.
  • To bill usage and prevent abuse.
  • We do not sell personal data. We do not use conversations to train AI models unless the seller has allowed it in their settings.

Services we use

Engage runs on these providers, each bound to use the data only to provide their service:

  • Amazon Web Services, Mumbai region (ap-south-1): hosting, storage, email and sign-in.
  • Plivo: phone calls.
  • Sarvam AI: speech recognition and speech synthesis for calls.
  • Google (Gemini API): the language model that writes the agent's replies.
  • Stripe: payments.

How long we keep it

Sellers choose how long recordings and transcripts are kept, and can delete them sooner. Business records such as RFQs stay until the seller deletes them or closes the account. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires.

Security

Each business's data is separated at the database level. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and recordings are reachable only through short-lived links from the dashboard.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data by writing to support@goodailabs.com. A caller can ask the agent to stop recording, and a buyer can stop price alerts with the link in each message.

Changes

We will post changes here and tell sellers by email before material changes take effect.
